Projects for the Dirichlet Space
Here are the choices of projects that are available for Phase II and III.
- Interpolation by Agler. (Only Theorem 1 needs to be presented).
- The Uniqueness of The Dirichlet Space among Mobius-Invariant Hilbert Spaces by Arazy and Fisher.
- Carleson Measures for Analytic Besov Spaces by Arcozzi, Rochberg and Sawyer.
- Bilinear Forms on the Dirichlet Space by Arcozzi, Rochberg, Sawyer and Wick.
- Cyclic Vectors on the Dirichlet Space by Brown and Shields.
- On a Sharp Inequality Concerning the Dirichlet Integral by Chang and Marshall.
- Interpolating Sequences for Multipliers of the Dirichlet Space by Marshall and Sundberg.
- Tangential Boundary Behavior of Function in Dirichlet-type Spaces by Nagel, Rudin and Shapiro.
- A Formula for the Local Dirichlet Integral by Richter and Sundberg.
- A Corona Theorem for Multipliers on the Dirichlet Space by Trent.
Participants selected to work on these projects will have to prepare two one-hour long lectures based on the contents of the paper. These lectures will be presented at a week long workshop. Additionally, they will have to write a 5 page summary of the topic before the meeting. The workshop will take place Monday June 13 to Friday June 17, 2011 at the Sea Palms Resort on St. Simon's Island, Georgia.
Interested participants should email wick[at]math[dot]gatech[dot]edu with a ranking in terms of interest of the project before March 1, 2011. Due to funding limits, there will be 10 participants selected to attend the workshop. Selected participants will be notified of the project they have and the exact details for the workshop.
